How to read your free kundli
Your kundli has twelve houses, each a part of life: self, wealth, siblings, home, children, health, marriage, longevity, fortune, career, gains and losses. The sign rising in the east at birth becomes the first house (lagna), and the nine planets fall into the houses from there. Dasha: the timing of your life
The Vimshottari dasha divides a 120-year life cycle into planetary periods that start from your Moon nakshatra. The mahadasha sets the main theme for years, the antardasha shifts the focus every few months to years, and the pratyantar fine-tunes it. The coloured timeline shows where you are today.
Yogas and doshas
Yogas are classical planetary combinations such as Gajakesari, Raja yoga or the five Mahapurusha yogas. Each one on this page shows the rule and why it holds in your chart. Doshas such as Manglik, Kaal Sarp and Sade Sati are shown with their cancellations, because most charts that have a dosha also have a reason it is reduced.

What is a kundli?
A kundli (Janam Kundli or birth chart) is a map of where the Sun, Moon, planets and the rising sign were at the exact moment and place of your birth. Vedic astrologers read it to understand temperament, life themes and timing through the dasha periods.
What details do I need to make my kundli?
Your date of birth, time of birth and place of birth. The place sets the latitude, longitude and the historical time zone, which decide your ascendant (lagna) and houses.
What if I do not know my exact birth time?
Choose an approximate time (morning, afternoon, evening or not sure). Planet signs, nakshatras and the dasha timeline stay reliable, but the ascendant and houses become approximate. A Guruji astrologer can help with birth-time rectification.
Which ayanamsa and house system does Guruji use?
Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa with whole-sign houses, the standard in most Indian practice. Positions are checked against established software to within one arc-minute.
How is Kundli matching calculated?
Kundli matching uses the North Indian Ashtakoota (36 guna) system from both Moon nakshatras: Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot and Nadi, plus a Manglik check for both charts.
